Xbox Broken?

Ive posted my problem ago but didnt really get a answer...

Anyways I had the xchip with solderless adaptor workin on my xbox for a while like 2 weeks and one time when I was playing halo and the xbox just shut off by itself. There was no power out or any like accidental unplugging.... the xbox just turned off by itself

I turned it back on again and now it flashes green/yellow then turns of then turned on and did that 3 times then just flashed red/yellow...

The screen shows nothing... its like the xbox isnt even connected to the tv.


I took the cover off and just took the chip out and tested again and got the same result....

I dont hear any clicking sounds when i turn on the xbox...

I tried booting with the disk tray button and the disk tray doesnt even open...

is there any to fix this... and any way I cant prevent this from happening againn

Im about to get another xbox.... maybe mod it again... if i knew what happened to my old one ....

any help would be much appriciated.... thnx :(

also if my mobo blew out... maybe my chip blew out

when I put the chip in the xbox the red light still goes on

does that mean the chip is still good?

is there a way i can chek that it works well without an xbox?

the red led just tells you that you have the ground making contact with the motherboard.

So is there any way i can check if my chip still works without puting it in someone elses xbox?

well if you can flash and reflash the chip then thats good but the sure way to know if it truely works would be to install it on another xbox.

Im pretty sure my xbox is screwed....

What do you think I should do....

Get my xbox fixed by a store (not like ebgames .. its jsut a gamestore in a mall) for 40$ and they charge u for more money if they need more parts...

or get a used xbox for 130?

the used models are easier to mod and you already have a mod chip
