exploits are not used with chips........well matrers which one your talking about......a modcip is an exploit in MSs hardware as the bios is an exploit in its software.......

tell us more about wut type of exploit and what your trying to do.......

He does or will be getting a v1.1 xbox for sure so i think this is out of the question isnt it? I will go and read up on the tuts from the main page now.

I didnt really want to solder nothing but if it comes down to having to just flash his TSOP then i'll do that but i was just curious if it was possible to just gain access from my Matrix chip into his dash and put these expliots in his xbox then remove the Matrix chip and he would be able to run unsigned code...

I was hoping thats all that would be required ... maybe later down the road it will be that easy.

If he buys 007 Agent Under Fire he can use it to launch homebrew apps and games but he would have to load 007 everytime. I think that would be the best temporary fix opposed to soldering. He could do the font exploit later when its developed more through the 007 exploit.

007 AUF is $20 US

You could even split the cost with him and copy the game for your own use or something.
I hear its not that great of a game though.
