ok... so ive got complex !loader v1.1 up and running... now i have a question... what do i have to do to get it to run games?
any time i try to run ANYTHING it just goes to a black screen...

i dont have anything in my xbox soldered, i was under the impression that wasnt required to play copied games with the free-x exploit...

i ahve tried rollercoaster tycoon, taht centipede game, and mameox... ive tried all 3 w/ the xbe's signed and unsigned and i get the same result every time...

can someone help me please?

I'm sure by copied games you mean backed up right... We wouldnt want to be doing n e thing illegal here... right???

Tell us how you setup the complex 1.1 and what version of kernel you have... anything else then 4031 will not do well with Complex 1.1... stick with 1.0 if i'm not mistaken.

ive got the very 1st kernel... like 3990 whatever... they said it was supposed to work with that too tho.

and my complex loader is set up the defualt way it is in the rar...
ive got the original freex bert and ernie files because the new ones wouldnt load

and yeah when i say copied i mean copies of my backups

OK mad... I'm also a n00b... but from what I understand Complex will only work with 4034 when executing xbe's(i could be totally wrong though)... you can run any game and proggie you want if you sign it with xbedump -font but using FreeXEvox. I've been able to run any proggie in this manner. Complex has never really worked for me other than ftp access having the 5051 kernel.

go into the dash and system information... ull see a bunch of leagl crap then a K:XXXX D:XXXX number. K is ur kernel, D is ur Dash version.

FreeXevox is the EvoX version that runs with the Font exploit.

the file name is Free-XEvox.rar. should be on xbins irc.

FeeXEvox is compatible with all kernels... and so is the bert and ernie font hack... but if you want to run unsigned backups you need a complex loader that is compatible with your kernel... which is only 4034... so for now, just sign all the xbe's with xbedump and use FreeXevox.

sweet, i jsut got the sims to run... but rollercoaster tycoon isntworking... it ahs xbe's for each language... do i need to sign them all?
