Using These Exploits With A Modded Xbox?

As far as I know it's possible (providing their dash is compatible), though slightly difficult as of now.
I haven't done this, but this is how I think it would go:
1. Solder jumpers on board.
2. Plop Matrix on board.
3. Insert Evox Boot cd / dvd, ftp in.  Change out font files (rename old ones, send renamed new ones) with those in DayX, add default.xbe to c:.  Also send bios file. Might be good to have the evox.ini from the official release that has tsop checksums in it.
4. Disable Matrix, reboot.
5. Flash bios.

Actually, that sounds pretty simple.

That doesn't make sense to me, there is no soldering needed, no need to flash the original tsop.    The hack, once installed with exo-x should boot up.  
Of course, no xbox live with this.

Although no soddering  is needed I suggest that you do it if you are going to open up your xbox, that is ofcourse if you are capable because int he near future MS is going to make a fix to this so might as well flash the tsop if you open up your xbox.

I got three to four diffrent friends of mine that have this version of xbox and are willing to give me 30 bucks each to do this to their xbox. They dont play Live so Live isnt a issue to them.

here's how i understand it all...

if you're opening up the xbox and soldering the points so that you can flash the TSOP, you don't need to put the matrix chip in to flash it.  you can do it with the version of evox that boots from using the 007 agent under fire exploit.  so what you need is:

original copy of 007 agent under fire
get the 007 evox dash floating around, and ftp it's contents to your modded box.  not just anywhere, it comes with instructions on where to put it.
once it's on there, you can go into the ms dash, and move the 007/evox gamesave to a memory card.
take the memory card to the unmodded box, move it to the hdd there.
run 007 original disc in unmodded box.  choose load game, and choose the one that's the evox 007 exploit.

this should boot up evox.  now you could have ftp access to this unmodded xbox, which means you can put the bert is cheating on ernie files etc etc.  you could also flash the TSOP if you've soldered the points on the mainboard, without putting the chip in.  of course, if you're opening the box anyway, it could be easier to just pop in the matrix to get ftp access instead of doing the roundabout 007/evox method.  That's just a way to do it without opening the box i reckon.

and remember, current bert is cheating on ernie stuff only works with kernel version 4034.  probably will be expanded in the future, but for now that's it.
