What is the easiest way of patching my HD using matrix chip(via ftp), and after it removing the chip, and keep running evox like now... ??, do I just overwrite xbox.xtf and xboxbook like the other tutorials, sign the evoxdash.xbe with xbedump, overwrite original in C, and I can safely remove my chip, and keep using the games I have on my 60GB drive on f: ??.... is that easy?

Yes basically its that easy if you use Bert is cheating on Earnie Im not sure about the other ones, but I suggest dont patch your files yet, wait for someone to fix the time error thing and get rid of the rest of the bugs then patch it, probably wont take more and a couple of days.

is this is as simple as I thought?... can evox still recognise my f: drive?.. wont erase anything if somethjing goes wrong??...

Yes it is that simple and yes you can use erase and use your F dirve as long as you have a 10 gig hd.

i believe BICOE does work with an F drive. however, if you've kept the retail drive in, the F drive is not formatted and set as a partition yet and you won't see it there until it's created. you can use Slayer's evox installer disc to format the F drive, so that you can then use it.

The F partition is intact on retail drives; it's just not formatted.
