This is not an actual dashboard but a utility to select which dashboard you would like to run as your default dash (the one that comes on when you start your Xbox).  You can have all your dashboards on you want installed in your applications or utilities folder or wherever I guess, and X-selector will give you the option your pick your default.  This can be changed at anytime the Xbox starts as well.  The best dashboard out there in my opinion is mXm.  Everybody should use this one.  Just go over to the forum and read and you'll see why.

Correct....

X-Select is a simple utility; there are no BIOS patches in it, and the time reset 'failsafe' will do nothing (same as Evo-X or MXM) to prevent the invalid clock looping, but somebody could import my simple fix from the source code into the Exploit code.

Heck... the whole thing could be imported into the hack; it has a dashboard selection, default selection, and even password protection.

Free-X is just at it's infancy... look for some cool things in the next few weeks.  biggrin.gif

What simple fix are you refering to?  Did I miss something?

The time reset function.

If implimented by the hack (has to be part of the code in the actual hack, not a separate program), the TimeCheck routine can be used to prevent the cycling boot problem.

BenJeremy,

I thought thats what you meant.   Didn't mean to ask you the same question I asked you in another thread.  Sorry.

And is that Ron Jeremy in a Lugi costume??? What the hell???  LOL!

Actually, it's Ron Jeremy in a Mario outfit... I've altered it and added the "L"

Long running joke...  laugh.gif
