I agree with you, the Free-X exploit is a great solution.
The point of my idea was to get people thinking about this.
How do the Live games update your dashboard: they download and install files onto your system.
How would this work: it would download and install all of the files (and i meanall the files) that have to be installed, ovewritten, and/or modified just as this current exploit does.
However, unline the current exploit, you don't need one of two games, a usb memory card, and experience with ftp, don't have to worry about screwing up the current files and ruining your system, and can be easily used to transform any xbox into a modded-like one.
I, personally, am gonna use the Free-X exploit because I know how the programs function, how to use dos, ftp, and other protocals that may be required. However so many arguements on this board are about Newbies screwing up their system and not knowing what EvoX even is. This could at least bring some peace to the scene if this were to come out. I'm not saying it would be easy to do, but the teams that make such great releases as XLinux and Free-X could prob figure it out in a few years.
Again, it's entirely theoretical!
