Invalid File Crap Error Fix For T00gg Hdd Driver
« Reply #60 on: July 19, 2003, 03:13:00 AM »

OK,  So i changed one instance where FATX was followed by .....s to ....
It then opened in the hdd-driver.  I made the change i needed to make to get the box working again.  REstored and booted.

The xbox boots up fine again.

Problem.

I deleted one instance of Fatx, this is obviously pointing to the start of a drive.  By removinf it i have messed up the F partition on the box.  I did not make a note of where I removed this line, where should I add FATX in again to make it work?!

since you replace FATX with ...., and there are like 60000000000 .... sequences in the hard drive's HEX, you are screwed. Just restore to virgin and start again!

hex out all partitions ,retore that image then just restore the system from your backup as that is the only partition you can do an exploit without creating folders ,once done exploiting restore the other partitions ...also dont always assume the file error is looping sometimes it only takes a few clicks
