I have loaded Free-XEvox on my xbox... but in order to make it run, i could not simply dump the bert and ernie files into the fonts folder... I had to rename the current fonts folder to fonts backup... then create a new fonts folder and dump bert and ernie into that... now Evox launches at startup... but when I select M$ Dashboard (no game inside xbox) it gives me error 21. The only way I can get my dashboard back is if i rename the fonts backup folder back to fonts. I cannot simply put the two Xbox.xtf and Xbox Book.xtf files inside the fonts folder I created. Is evox suppose to be able to launch the dashboard without any problems?
Now I must inform you that I am running a v1.2 from what I understand and with a kernel of 5051. But I am not trying to load any backups or any of that... I simply want to load my store bought games in a diffrent maner cause I am board and want to learn something new. Inclusive the auto load is elected on my evox settings so if I am in Evox and Insert a game... it will go thru checking the media... then will want to start it, right when the screen flickers to run the game... it gives me the error 21... I know that the xbox is trying to access the two M$ font files, but for some reason it cannot... or maybe I am not completely understanding this exploit. I want to be able to have access to the dashboard from within Evox... if possible?
