Pheonix Project Exploit To Boot Orig Xboxdash.xbe

i have the pheonix exploit thing installed and working and booting to EvoX.  Now what i want to try is have it still boot up to the orig xboxdash.xbe, but whenever i replace the EvoX default.xbe with a MS dash default.xbe it just keeps on restarting.  Im guesing that it is because the orig dash is looking for the orig Xbox.xtf and XBox Book.xtf and is finding different files. o yea and the xbox dash that im using is signed for the exploit.  What would be the easiest way to have the orig dash look somewhere else for the font files?
any help would be appreciated
