Spelly88, correct me if im wrong....

You said that Completesignedaudioexploitwithphoenix.zip comes with modded st.db to start the exploit playing audio ? without making a copy of it ?

To clarify:  A few pages back in this tutorial, Adso58 told of a method to hex edit the st.db file to allow this exploit to work...  What I meant was that the CompeteSignedAudioPheonix loader already incorporates this edited st.db so all you need to do is just extract it to the right location...  I believe it's part of the e-stuff folder in the zipfile, so just put it in the right place and you should be good to go...

I make my question clearer:

Does somebody mods this exploit to launch with "Play" function MS Dash or it stay to "Copy" function to enable it ?

You still need to execute the audio exploit to get it working...  Using the copy method...

QUOTE (af12345 @ Jul 30 2003, 12:13 PM)
do those new xbox's which come standard with the S Controller (im assuming ver 1.3) work with this exploit?

Does 1.3 have any disadvantages?

Since I still wanted to use Xbox-Live without worry, I went and bought a new xbox  just to play around with...  I used this audio exploit on the new one (1.3/latest kernal/dash) and it works fine...  I'm still using the complete signed pbl 1.0 though as I haven't felt the need to upgrade to 1.2...

The audio exploit should work with any version of the xbox, although I believe it's recommended that you update your msdash to the latest version first...

I got the signed phoenix with audio hack file, but since phoenix 1.3 was released today,
and i'd like to use that. Will replacing the files, adding the eeprom key to boot.cfg, signing the default.xbe and renaming it to linux.xbe (what the file was called in the old archive) do the trick? Or is there a catch here...

Any help appreciated,

i just did it and it work fine as long as you use the dt.db file from the Audio_Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader  it will let you sign phoenix with -audio

With this exploit (without disabling the hack), I can not copy music to the HDD normally, I have to use the FTP, right?

The music goes in e:/TDATA/fffe0000/Music/[enter my music folder here]/*.wma ?

Total newbie here!

Would it be possible to not have to boot the box with a audio cd every time and how would i go about to make it happen in such a case?

I dont think its possible to boot the box without a audio cd when you are using the st.db exploit.

EDIT:
lp2000: Maybe it would be a good idea for you to edit the tutorial in the first post since there have been some confusion later in the tread with the Audio_Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader.zip

smile.gif I am going to cross the boundaries & test xbox live without enableing the Audio exploit. I already used exploit so if it permanently patched kernal, we will all know soon. Will respond soon with the conclusion of project.

beerchug.gif  WISH ME LUCK!!!

Exploit used: Audio Signed Pheonix Bios Loader.zip

Hey tuleee that worked like a charm thanks a bunch. This was only my send crack at trying any exploits. The first one was with tutu's tutorial on the "MA/007 with Phoenix BIOS loader".It worked on my first try also but the "reset on eject" got in the way for what I needed to do.

This was on a Xbox with a mfg date 6/3/03 fresh out of the box and the dash updated already.(I'm assuming a 1.2 or 1.3)

If I use the ST.DB from Audio_Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader,
and use the evolutionX.xbe in place of E:linux.xbe,
this will work?

Why do I need the Phoenix Loader?

PS: I´m ussing an unmoded XboX
