i've never heard of a free-x wav file
the audio exploit is with ST.DB file that is a database of the wav files on the xbox
but if there is a free-x wav exploit cant u just run it from a cd-rw?

My bad,

After further checking the Audio exploit is the st.db one,  free-x did mention that the wav's are also vunerable.

lp2000,

I can run the original linux.xbe but I always get error code 21 message.  I have signed the file not totally sure what might be wrong.

hmm wtf am i doin wrong then ?

I used the complex loader FX xbe file, put xbe dump in the same dir, started a command prompt and typed

xbedump default.xbe -audio

its version lists while its running as 0.5BETA but it fails on header size even before it does the patch.

:/

are you guys sure you renamed out.xbe to linux.xbe?

if you are getting file integrity: FALSE !!!!!!!!!!! FALSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ignore it.. as i was getting that before.. but i still renamed out.xbe to linux.xbe

oh yeah i was wondering what version xboxes you guys were running.. i have a v.1.0 with a 4034 kernel bios. hope that helps.. maybe you guys are having probs with the new versions or maybe your dash hasnt been updated with an xbox live compatible game (the 4920 dashboard)

Thanx m8 I was first using the fonts exploit but this is really awesome and easy.

With the modchip on it works fucking gr8. ONly with the modchip off i get error 21 when launching evox.

my C drive is oringinal just as a normal xbox live harddrive.

How is this possible?
No i only needs to get it work without the modchip

What i did is beginning with the original C and E drive. Totally no exploits installed, i just copied over that sd.db file to the the directory named in the TXT by using the ftp i got from my modchip.

Then i did take an original Evolutionx menu and patched it with xbedump, i renamed the out.xbe to linux.xbe and copied it in the root from E.
I uploaded the rest from the evox menu to E drive (skins, evox.ini) and i did a reboot. I did put in a music cd, selected copy, and i selected Done. and the evox is launching.

The only problem is, if i turn off the modchip i get an error 21
