Are you saying that if i backup and restore, it will eliminate the invalid filename size errors? Because I get so many of those that it crashes the program when I keep clicking ok. Also, I know that it doesn't let you add folders like the bert cheating on ernie exploit requires. Is there one that doesn't that either allows you to ftp over to the xbox, or has something that can make directories? I've been having a hell of a time with this.

How do you do this? Can you boot into xlinux without putting anything on your hard drive first? If you could do that, it would be infinitely easier. Do you mean boot the xbox with xlinux or boot the pc with it?

i tried this and it recongnized it but and hdd driver said it found it but got shitloafsd of errors and they never went away am i supposed to wait a while at the boot screen?

Until now I haven't never seen an HD swap tutorial that is guaranteed to work, but I must say this is the best so far (should be sticky). If you organize it more in steps it'll be better..

mMe too this sucks. If anyone can help plz. Am I using the rond IDE cable im using the one that goes into my cd rom i unplugged my cd rom and recongnizes it. If i take apicture of my mother board and show the 3 ide cables can you help ill have to send it to someone to host for me

What I heard is if you are doing the hotswap and before you swap ide cables you put a game ina dn let it load and your drive unlocks I guess to redo to I guess....
