I'm just having problems with the HDD Driver program. My hd is unlocked already from my modded xbox, but I am doing this for a friend who is in a different state.

YES! I GOT IT! I believe i didn't have my files named properly. I also edited the skin.ini in the pheonix folder for the skin to defualt to C: .

Thats why you would use the HD swap in Evox mofo.

ok i've been lurking all week trying to avoid having to ask a question...but now i hafta...i searched to no avail...got hd swapped into pc...got files renamed and bert and ernie inserted with the hdd_driver prog...only thing i'm missing is where the !loader program gets tossed in...sorry to add to the n00b mess but it's late and i'm down to my last bawls lol...here's a pic if it helps answer any of my dumb questions

i dont really recommend doin hdd swaps as i killed my hdd by doing this

ok i made sure to do both the above mentioned steps...now if ya tell me where in the HDD_Driver program to navigate to put the loader stuff since you can only add files and not folders unless i missed something... you'll be my hero for the day

which step did you take to unlock your hd and connect to your pc?

i used the hot swap trick as described in your first post...the program found the drive and i got the font files renamed and the new ones inserted then i got a bit lost after that

Where to get the "right" versions of the mfc dll's? There are many different verions out there. Maybe you could post the filesize of the dll's known to work on your machine...

basically i googled them all and all came up with links to this site...i did each one individually...i still got the invalid filesize error on program startup...but after hitting on the program still ran...i was able to backup my hd and mess with renaming the files then couldn't get where to put the loader stuff so i restored the hd to original for now till someone proves this program actaully works and how to do it

Ok, I got in the hd, but i found something odd, the only folder under system is audio, why is that?
