Just wondering though, if you replace the font files and go back to the old dashboard, will everything be back to normal (for example if you wanted to use Live there won't be any problems), or will you have to do anything else?

Hrm... maybe I'm wrong, but if I've got how this works down (not gonna do it myself since I have a chip already), once those bert and ernie files are in there and the old ones are renamed, whenever you go to load the ms dash, whatever default.xbe is in that folder is gonna load automatically. If that is indeed the case, you wouldn't be able to access the dash that's in the root of C. However, you could do what I suggested in this thread: How to access dash. LMK how that works (soon as I can borrow a USB pendrive, I'm gonna be trying this on my brother's box, so I'd like to know how it works out as well :-P).
