u can put ur xbox drive into ur comp to transfer files... look in the hard drive tools on xbox-scene.com... and y would u take out ur chip?... thats the dumbest thing ive heard... everyone needs to cool out and wait a lil... this exploit just came out... i highly reccomend taht if u use live not to use this exploit bc M$ can just impose manual dashboard updates that will overright all the hard work of this exploit... if u wanna use LIVE... get a chip that u can turn off... i still reccomend a chip...

I'm up and running with the !Loader, verrry nice!

About the red light - I think its quite cool, that way theres no confusion about whether you're running 'modded' or not - less chance of you accidentally playing on XBL?

I tried signing the old Centipede demo, but it wouldn't work either.

Anyway, hope the info is useful to somebody. Let me know if there is anything I should test until new exploits/!Loaders are out.

Thought I'd just mention that I've got !Loader running on my virgin translucent green Xbox K5101/D4920. (using Font-X exploit) Looks great!

As expected, it won't run any games off HD or DVD though sad.gif

For all those talking about having different kernal versions, it will not work.  I have the 3944 kernal and of course, the !Loader .xbe loads, but whenever I try to launch anything with it, I just get a black screen, which is probably the same problem your translucent green xbox is having?

hopefully complex will realize how many people have other kernal versions and release some updates...

its a pain in the ass but if you've got a v1.0 xbox you could always regrade to 4034 in the meantime; lets hope those hax0rs at complex come up with some v1.1 xbox kernel support!

I know it's not supposed to work. That's why I wasn't expecting any games to run. I just wanted to see if the !Loader would run at all. Thanks for the feedback though.

Oh, btw, my translucent green gives me error 21, not the black silent screen.

If any of the "makers" reads this and needs me to test anything, let me know.

Tip: The Phantasy Star Online USB adapter makes a great companion to my USB-memorybird. No need for a memory card smile.gif

by the looks of that pic, loader files would go into the system folder.

well there's 3 folders when i extracted the loader file.

"C," "kernal" and "source."

i know that the files that are in "C" folder should go into the "system" in xbox hd, but where do those files in "kernal" and "source" go in xbox hd?

afaik Kernel and Source are not used, they seem to be there for developers.
