With this the new exploit would be unstopable.. :/ good or bad ?

On the one hand.. you have a unmodded xbox running everything a modded xbox can..
on the other hand the makers of this new "evox" would be put to a huge presure, i mean your the maker of the destruction of the xbox.. how would that make you feel?

I think eventually in a week or so the new evox will be released.. and let's keep in mind that xbox coding is still different from C ansi coding :/ will take somewhat longer to port this bitch smile.gif

People still have to either open their xbox (so these are people who dont mind voiding their warranty, and wouldve bought a chip anyway) or buy agent under fire + mega x-key (more expensive than getting a chip installed i would guess)

Some people here don't know how to download files.... explaining to them how to open their box, take out the hard drive, open their PC and plug it in, then run some utility.. maybe you have more confidence than I. smile.gif

The solution is still not easy, nor elegant.. which is why I don't think they deserve the money, and why MS won't be too concerned.

afaik the Complex !Loader doesn't actually need to sign XBEs for you, I think the signature crack they mention is what enables you to boot any XBE homebrew or otherwise, off of harddisk or dvdrom backup; just like modchips do.

Ya, I'd like someone to explain just how "easy" it would be to replace the HDD in an Xbox that is not modified and boots up with a stock BIOS. You cannot boot up with the unlocked HDD to get the valid key and how are you going to get the key to lock the new HDD so you can boot it? Seems like a paradox. Unless there is utility on PC that uses the eeprom file to generate a key for a particular HDD model/serial in a PC, I do not see how easy this can be.

why do you need to unlock the drive to get the key. Just use the 007 exploit to load the complex loader, then run config magic final write down key.

the point is not having to use 007 and the way to do this is hot swapping the hdd out of xbox after boot and putting it into ur linux box running a modified linux kernel then adding w/e exploit you want

only !loader has the hack, but evo-x and avalaunch are probably both slaving away to implement it in their next release T-24h?
