i wish you would read read read... ok, here:

you only need to solder the points together if you want to flash the tsop (effectively removing the onboard bios flashprotect)

yes but it requires some modding http://www.xbox-save...XK_HW_Guide.htm.

you coulkd use that in reverse to connect you standred memory card to your pc. would this work, i don't know.
