I had 1.1 bios installed, and was able to install 1.2 through the boot setup no problems.

Good to know.

It's worth the upgrade for users that have not done so. Many bug fixes from version 1.1

 How can you upgrade it through the boot process? I've always done it through the USB port.

There is an option inside the Bios Banks of Evox 1.1 to update OS via a Media in DVD drive or harddisk on xbox.

You can upgrade either way but do take the update it's worth it.

No extra options or features from 1.1 to 1.2 ,just bug fixes if you encountered, if is working fine no need to update.

thanks for the link. i was having the same problem and was able to follow your thread to this solution. so 1.2 will fix me up?

edit: hurray for 1.2! all my games now have sound.
