Then add the files: hdunlock.exe, hdunlock.pas, hddisabl.exe, and hdddisabl.pas to the bootdisk just created. Now, turn off your computer, set your xbox hdd to SLAVE, install your xbox hdd in your computer. Turn on your computer with bootdisk inserted, and it will ask you to press a key, then press a key, and you are in A:> Type in hdunlock and press enter Select your xbox hdd, and enter your hdd password it should say DONE Type in hddisabl Select oyur xbox hdd, and enter your xbox hdd password it should say DONE. Congratulations you have unlocked your xbox hdd for formatting. Simple way to format it in WinXP: Now boot to windows enter "MMC" in RUN File-->Add/Remove Snap-in Click on ADD New window appears double click on Disk Management New window, click finish Click on OK Click on Disk Management(LOCAL) then right click on disk 1 and select the first option now right click on the right box next to the Disk 1 Box Then click on format, and format it the way you want it, select your partition letter and your ready to go.

welll this is great but you need evox installed right?  not if you install some of the tools found here

the password viewere will allow you not to have to use evox on your xbox.

your thinking of something else thats for putting a new hd in your xbox. you can use the hd swap with a locked hd. couse the xbox powers on and unlockes it. youpush paise/brake befor you pc sees any drives power on the xbox wait for the dash to load. wile the xbox and pc is one still paused you sawp the ide cable from the xbox mobo to your mobo. i sugest unplugging your pc hd first. so with the xbox on and its ide cable pluged in your pc resume booting using the xlinux cd you have acess to your xbox hd.

i put the new files on the xlinux iso so all i need to do is to rename those font files with xlinux for backup and cp the new stuff over using there guide. youdont ned to use gogo couse your not doing the 007 expolite or that command does it all for you. og yea when your done plug the ide cable back into the xbox and power it down to make shure knothing gets cruppted. and of course reassemble your pc. but rember ide isnt hotswap compatble and thers a slight chance you could fry yout pc or xbox but noone has had this happon to them as of yet.
