xbox will start selling like crazy
people will figure out how to make the exploit boot anything you want
people will boot games that patch the exploit

This just goes to show how much people don't pay attention and why things like this exploit is dangerous.

If M$ starts selling more Xboxes and less games (because of piracy), M$ loses big time... they lose $$$ every time they sell an Xbox you fools... and make their money (their VERY MUCH in the red) from game sales...

A2: Yes M$ could try to upgrade the dashboard and fix the
      vulnerability with such an update, but keep in mind that this
      vulnerability is like a "local root" hole. You can do nearly
      everything with it and this includes redirecting reads and writes to
      the xboxdash.xbe file

MS also has full root axx with xlive.

They could just as easily check if xboxdash.xbe reads/writes are being redirected.

i love to see m$ fails, if as of today there are no more games that come out for xbox i'd still b extremely happy with what i got current games/thousands of games to run on emus/xbmp/linux and the fact the m$ lost alot of money

well those aren't my words.  I copied that straight from the Free-X document.  
They know a great deal more about this than I do.
