mattg39, you silly. if the bios were put back to normal before you load an xbe, how would the xbe load (assuming it's non signed, or that you are running it off the hd)?

bit rusty, been bout 4 months since ive heard it

So, If I understood Troed correctly, to bypass the xboxlive check on the Bios, you gotta patch the Bios in the Ram, execute the backup, and then re-patch the RAM bios to the original for the xbox live check?
