If you want Linux, and only Linux, then yes it should be okay, other than that, the group has found the key to the xbox, the M$ key, in a matter of speaking.

if they did an xbox windows thing they would probably gain lots more than lost because

1.the keyboards have maybe $10 of plastic the mouse would probably have $5 or less put into it
2.They could charge more for internet servers

I hope you all get my point.

                                      Summary
xbox windows would be a big money-pit for consumers like me.
