Installing 120+ Harddrive With Xchip
« on: October 09, 2004, 05:26:00 PM »

I've just installed my xchip and it works fine. But I'm having trouble installing my 200 gig hard drive. I've tried reading all the threads I can but all they suggest is what programs to use. Can someone walk me through on how to install a new harddrive or point me in the direction of a guide on how to do it? Thanks.

The problem is it frags when I install a 200 gig so the slayer doesn't even load. It's fine when I stick a 160 gig in. Any suggestions on why and how?

Whats the model and manufacturer of the 200GB?  Maybe its not compatible with xbox, there are a  few lists that lists compatibilities, do a search for "harddrive
 compatibility"
