You can't connect your PC to your Xbox with a crossover cable. Connect your Xbox and your PC to your broadband router, enable DHCP on your Xbox, make sure your Xbox and PC have IP addresses in the same subnet, and use Filezilla as your FTP client.

When your PC and your Xbox are both connected to your router do they both have IP addresses in the same subnet? Once they do then the rest is simple.....

Back up your eeprom to your PC.

Put your apps in E:\Apps\, each app in its own folder.

Put the emulators in E:\Emulators\, or in F:\Emulators if you don't have enough space in E:\

so ive tryed files in folders, just the zip file rar. an all im getting is requested action not taken. or only 226 free so i went to F an it still wont trasfur in there ether

i love how 49 people have looked at this post an yet ppl arnt saying shit. im getting fuckin pissed i just softmodded this fucking thing today got it connected to fxp an when i try to put a fucking app on it it doint work an now i get a 07 service message.

Error 07 is normally a loose IDE cable. Check that first, then try all of the other suggestions here.

Your first post was under 3 hours ago. Stop imagining that people owe you any help, and that there is some implied obligation for people to respond in any given timescale, or that your childish tantrums will make people want to help you. If you want an SLA then pay for help, otherwise stop being so ungrateful.

So did you check all the IDE cables ? I havent dealt with xbox 1 in awhile but I may be able to help some.

We all get frustrated with this stuff at times but you're going to have to calm down mate and learn some manners. Even if it's not directed at anyone in particular if you respond like that you will just be ignored.

Of course a lot of people are going to look at a new thread precisely because they want to help. But if they don't know the answer or, more likely, simply don't understand your description of the problem they're not going to waste their time and yours posting.

Listen to what Heimdall says, he's one of the top Xbox gurus here and really knows his stuff. If anybody can help you he can.
