Are you able to copy the game save to the Xbox?

When you load Splinter Cell or Mech Assault and load the game save, what do you get? You can see "Run Linux"?

Are you sure your Splinter Cell and Mech Assault are the right games? There are platinum hits and other disks that won't work. There is a post somewhere here that covers what disks will work. Do the search. It will come back with an error, but do the search again and it will work from that screen.
