It can be fixed for sure.

You messed up the softmod. It's usually difficult to find out what went wrong.

It's a bit like deleting a file in the windows folder of your pc and trying to find out why your pc isn't booting anymore.

The easiest solution will probably be a total rebuild of the harddisk. You will need the xbox eeprom.bin for that purpose and an older pc with at least one ide connector, preferable 2.

Take a look at the xboxhdm package. You can extract the original M$dash 5960 files from a slayers or AID rescue iso. I use the qwix program to extract such an iso.
