Problem Wtih Splinter Cell Exploit
« on: September 15, 2009, 05:28:00 PM »

After reading about other people having problems, I made sure Linux is the only save for Splinter Cell and it still isn't working.

Its not like a computer where you have to reinstall the whole operating system if settings are way too whacked out. If you're having troubles with a dashboard, download a fresh copy and overwrite your current one. Or depending on your dashboard, you may be able to just delete your config file. config.xml for UnleashX & evox.ini for evox. But don't start deleting just yet, give us a little more info to help you better.

Maybe its not beyond repair. What's going on that's wrong? And what dashboard are you using?

Also, inside the gamesave exploit loader's folder there might be a XBE file you can just open using your dashboard's file explorer. Be weary though, opening the wrong XBE may run a specific part of the installer that can mess with your Xbox so I'd suggest trying to fix the problem before starting from scratch.

You should have TWO "mod" save files, one that just says LINUX, and one that actually says it's for SC. That could be your problem there... Try getting a new set of saves from the usual place.
