Wow, what a descriptive title. I'm amazed you haven't received tons of replies trying to help you with your problem.
Then your post. Your problems seem to jump off the page at me.
How did you screw them up? What is wrong with them?
I really don't know what you are using.
Apparently you are trying to get the eeprom from the Xbox.
Are you trying to lock or unlock the hard drive? You post it both ways.
Adding:
Item "Backup",ID_Backup
To Evox should back up the eeprom. FTP into the Xbox and look for it. If you used Krazie's Ndure to softmod the Xbox, there should be an eeprom.bin file in the E:\Temp\Backup folder or the E:\Dashboard\Backup folder.
Sorry to be so harsh on you, but when you put a title like that and don't explain your problems, it hits a nerve.
lol sorry I was hoping someone would notice, anyway
the thing is I tried switching xbox consoles I took the files from an old worn down xbox that seemed to go haywire sometimes, it was a hard modded system, I switched to soft mod but still experienced weird dvdrom haywire, dvd tray opens up when the power cord is plugged in, the front panet buttons dont work
I took the eeprom, the c drive, and e drive files from the old one; made a disc using the xbox hd maker
and unlocked it
on the new xbox the one thats still...well lets say virgin as it was never been modded before, I soft modded it and took the files from there and the eeprom in its folder in the Xbox HD Maker, made the bootable disc
I formated the old drives to have the new xbox set up, I have no room in my computer for anything like the files in the xbox F and G were totally filled up. I didnt want to format those drives either. the rebuild finishes and when I turn to use the lockhd/unlockhd I type in lockhd -a I end up getting an error saying cannot find eeprom on cdrom and such.
I also tried set path manually to search for the eeprom using the options it gave me, still nothing
and yea im pretty much out of ideas on how to do this...
