Ok... anyone know a way around it?? i found a temp solution but want a permenant one....
 My buddy is bringin over his tower so i can finish this crap and lock the damn drive, LOL.... But i would like to know how to fix this or get around it for next time so i dont have to call in a favor or buy a new tower....
 I have noticed this a big prob and havent ben able to yet find the answer searching hundreds of forums since this morning....HELP!!!!

 I have tried all the various powerding on with/without both ide and power connections.... tried the bios- mine doesnt offer the right option.... and a few other ways i cant remember-my brains gettin worked here- help a fellow enthusiast out and tell your secret!!!
