I was hoping this was the right USB Action Replay for the Spliter cell Soft mod (or the other 2). I don;t want to buy the wrong one.

Yes, that's the right one.

You know if all you want to do is softmod your Xbox you can do the same thing much cheaper with Xplorer360 beta 6, an Xbox USB converter, and a USB stick. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hey thanks i was able to pick on up for under $10 with shipping vs $25-30 on the other one.

My only question is do i still fallow the same steps in the soft mod tut. Just think of the adapter and the Flash drive as the Action Replay?

Yes, it works in exactly the same way. Make sure you use a Krayzie 1.1.1 gamesave - it's the most recent, and gives you a very stable softmod. Just plug the USB stick into your Xbox to format it (happens automatically), then back into your PC. Windows won't recognize it, or it might ask if you want to format it - you don't! Simply fire up Xplorer360, click on drive - open - harddrive or memcard, then drag and drop the Krayzie gamesave onto the Xplorer360 window. You want the numbered folder(s) in the root - for Splinter Cell they are numbered 5553000c and 21585554. Obviously, you have to unzip the gamesaves before you transfer them!
