My Xbox had been soft moded for a few years. This past week I was updating to the newest version of XBMC. After updating, my XBox wouldn't boot to a dash. Thankfully, games would boot. I loaded up Mechassault and accessed the modded game save I had. I pulled me into the installer. I uninstalled the soft mod and rebooted my Xbox. I loaded back to the MS dash with no problem. I again launched MA. This time when I went to launch the save, the screen went black. The light on the front was orange/yellow. I thought maybe my game save was corrupted. I found one of the newer MA exploits and transferred it to my memory card. I am using an Action replay. Whenever I transfer a load the new save, one of the following occurs: black screen w/ green light, black screen w/ orange light, or a service error screen w/ code 21. I know the AR memory cards can be flaky. Before I go out and try to find an official MS memory card, I wanted to check. Did uninstalling the softmod screw something up? I always backup the eeprom. Any suggestions?
