Problem With Xplorer360

I did xplorer360 which detects the drive and opens it with partition 0...
I copy the save games over for splintercell and they copy successfully but when I try it in the xbox it doesnt detect the savegames.

I know the nano works with the xbox because I can copy savegames to it from the xbox hard drive.. which incidentally dont appear in xplorer360 not sure if they should.

The saves should appear.

I tried copying the savegames onto the root of the partion 0 as well as into a udata folder(i think root is the correct way)

without UDATA, at root of partition 0 is correct.

Im currently trying to mount the drive in linux through xebian on vmware but thats not really working either.

Are you typing 24 at the boot prompt? That will force the 2.4 kernel with FATX support.

Can you try this? Format the drive with "HP USB Disk Format Tool" back to FAT32 again. Then insert in xbox and force the xbox to format it to FATX. Then use xplorer360 or Xebian. I suspect the FATX on your drive is already corrupted.

The strange behavior you described suggested to me the ipod nano has some hardware based write protection mechanism. Why don't you try other usb devices?

yea i figured it was the nano but didnt want to believe it.. finally ended up buying a sandisk micro cruzer and it worked well with action replay etc. Just trying to save some money.. ill probably end up returning the flash drive though smile.gif
