I would get sc. get ftp acces and restore your xbox to retail and then start over again using a complete pre set package..

no xbe touches the bios unless nkpatcher.xbe or pbl.xbe.
the advantage of starting over is because your filesystem is completely messed up and without someone that knows what he's doing it will most likely only get worse.

like I said you messed up your softmod files. Most likely your fonts were corrupted. If you softmod doesn't load your bios stays retail and you can't run unsigned code.

Removing dvd rom IDE before you power on will usually result in an unlocked hdd for you to hotswap.

how do you do restore the xbox to retail? And will this fix the service required message
