i have two problems that are preventing me from installing EvoX onto my xbox, here they are:

1. using krayzie's ndure installer i cant copy the save game files from the usb drive to the xbox HDD, the only option that shows up is "delete". this isnt a storage space problem as i have 50,000+ blocks free on both of them.

2. using the AR method i cant copy the save files from the "PC Database" section to the "Memory Card" section

this is really killing me here, any help would be appriciated.

What memory card are you using, and what exploit are you using?

oops- please take back that big blurt, I can't find 'edit'- after unrar'ing all the folders in the MECH ASSAULT gamesave, and deleting them on said XBOX, I then used Flash FXP to FTP to HARD DISK, NOT DIRECT TO MEMORY CARD.  From the HD I copied it to memcard and Voila!  Now I gotta find me a copy of Mech Assault!

Here is where i found the Linux installer.

the latter also contains the "000000000000" folder but what the heck, it worked for me.   once i'd finally found the 'right' files it was a swift installation, very clear.

I found my biggest problem to be that when i 'found' an installer pack, it was never clear whether it was NTSC or PAL, latest or outdated... which to choose, etc, all a bit vague, understandably.

i'm very happy that it worked!  It's my first softmod, i have a hardmod so am glad there was no soldering involved, or paying someone else to do it etc.  totally different story to my ghastly "let's make my pc into a mac" monstrosities... gah.  though i've yet to install the HD!
