In Need Of A Xbox Guru

Ok so how to start this off. My friend soft modded his xbox after seeing me mod mine. In the process when he tried to backup his c drive it gave an error and i dont think it did it as when i try ed to ftp into his box it had no backups at all. At this point the drive stoped reading disks . The softmod he used was UnleashX and in that dashboard they have a formatting option. Well long story short he formatted all the drives and rebooted his xbox sadly to come to a screen with it says basically that he needed to call support and the xbox botton flashes what looks like reg and green . After wondering for many days iv seen this allot but in most cases there is an error number where in this case there was none. So basically he has a xbox that loads the logo then goes to the support error in all the diffrent languages. He and i have tried using xboxhdm to gain access to the box with no luck it just says it cant find any disk and to please reboot and connect a disk . He has no copy of his eeprom so we arnt really sure how to go about unlocking the drive so that we can once again softmod it up. I hope all that made sense been a long day playing with this thing and my mind is frying out lol . If anyone has any ideas or incite on this situation please give feedback .

I have also tried Slayers auto cd and the UnleashX boot cd but the xbox read neither of them im in a real jam here and not sure what to try next

Much thanks in advance

PS. If this is posted in wrong section i am sorry i wasn't sure if this was hardware issue or UnleashX as that was the mod on it at the time

if you have no back-up of the hdd key for that xbox you are sh#t outta lucky unless you can get a modchip installed.

thats the only fix if you dont have the hdd key (EEprom.bin)

yeh, this is the wrong section...

during the softmod process, a copy of his eeprom.bin should have been copied to the Memory Unit in the xbox controller.

you can use this, and XboxHDM to set the drive back to original.
you will need fresh C drive files which should be on your slayer disc.

check around for some tutorials on HDM its a pretty easy solution.

if you have no eeprom.bin, i think you may be out of luck.

moved to softmod forum...

Hotswapping to xboxhdm should still work.
