I just got a PAL v1.6 xbox and want to softmod it.
I have purchased splinter cell and soldered a female usb into my xbox controller so that i can use a USB memory stick as an xbox memory card to transfer the savegame exploits onto.

Ive discovered however that i cannot use the action replay mod thing with a v1.6 xbox

i need some other way to transfer the files from my pc to the usb memory stick since AR doesnt work and i dont want to buy AR or connect the xbox controller to my pc

there must be another way, how did others with v1.6 xboxed get the savegames onto a usb memory stick to use as a action replay card?

You should be able to connect the memory stick to the PC and copy the files directly to it.

hi wasnt what i was lookig for but thanks for your help.
ive found out how to do it- i had to use explorer360 and ive sucessfully softmodded my xbox now

Great. Now back up the C and E drives to the PC and make sure the eeprom.bin file is in there. With a softmod having the back up files is very important.
