Ok , I softmodded a friends xbox a while ago using krayzies ndure softmod, he asked me to take a look at it today as his lads been at it and he aint sure what hes done.

The Xbox boots straight to evox as it did before but most of the menu is missing? Just launch dvd and system settings left in the menu.  So i thought the best way to sort it would be to backup the drive via ftp, then format the drive using slayers 2.6 and return it to stock, then reinstall the softmod from scratch. So i have formatted the drives c and e and tried to return the drive to factory settings using slayers, but after doing this the xbox still boots to evox?

I have also tried deleting the files from c drive via ftp then replacing the files with a fresh c drive image but it still boots to evox?

How can i get this drive back to stock

try using the rescue disc Or gaining FTP acces through the exploited gamesave. You obviously never heard of the concept of "shadow C"

If you can boot to Evox you have FTP access. FTP Krazie's game save back over.

You can also use CASH Ver 1.1 to put the Xbox back to stock.

The Evox.ini file was corrupted. That is why you only have the few options. It is a much simpler fix to FTP a new Evox. ini file over or repair that one than to format the drives and start over.

Thanks both for your help , i sorted it by using AID to create a new ms backup then started mod from scratch.
