Error 21 On Softmod Attempt

I have a modded Xbox and I decided to pick up another for my bedroom.  This newer Xbox is a 1.6.  I tried the old MechAssault exploit I had used successfully on my modded Xbox, only to discover that it doesn't work on a 1.6.

So I downloaded Softmod Installer Deluxe 4.5 after doing some reading that it could in fact mod a 1.6.  I attempted using this exploit and it got me one step further then my previous attempt.  It actually loaded the Run Linux exploit instead of giving me an error in MechAssault it booted out of the game, only to deliver an error 21.  What might be going wrong here?

Try using Krazie's Ndure 1.1.1 to softmod the Xbox.
