Opinion Needed

I am building a second hacked xbox and I am trying to figure out the best method for my needs. My question is

What is the easiest, most simple method for just installing a new dash and being able to run XBMC? I dont need space for games just play video from my file server.

Any help would be great

Do a softmod. There isn't a need to open the case. Put the game save exploit on the modded Xbox through FTP. Copy it to a mem card and then to the un-modded Xbox. Run it and you have a second modded Xbox. Set up XBMC as the default dash after that. During the installation, set it up with Evox. To me, it is easier to change over to XBMC as the default dash.
