hey im noob trying to softmod my old xbox. my friend has a modded xbox which i am borrowing so i can make my life a little bit easier. i tried making a memory card using a flash drive, but my xbox will not recognize any of them. to remedy this, i went to ebgames and bought a $5 memory card that they took out of a junk box from beneath the counter. the memory card works fine for almost everything, except what i need it to do. i downloaded the mechassault and the 007 game hacks, but i could not get them to go directly onto my memory card via ftp (i am using flashfxp). when i try to ftp to the memory card, some files are put on, but not all of them as i get a good amount of file transfer errors. i ftped directly to my friends modded xbox's hard drive, and that worked perfectly. i even tried playing the game with that save and it worked. however, as i tried to get it from the hard drive to the memory card using xbox media center, i got yet again file transfer errors. I made an adapter for my pc, and hooked up my controller and memory card to it and used action replay to put the gamesave on it. although it was loaded to the memory card, the xbox will not allow me to copy that save to the hard drive. I then tried to use the friends xbox again to copy the save from the hard drive to the memory card, but this time doing one file at a time. almost none of the files transferred but the bin files in the save transferred easily. should i look into getting a better memory card or is this a common error that can be resolved? (my memory card does not have the m$ logo on it, so i think it may be third party). any kinda help would be greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance (IMG:
