Installing Larger Hd
« on: October 03, 2007, 08:11:00 PM »

You can leave out the folders in the Tdata and Udata folders. Make sure you leave those folders though. Most times the Xbox will create them if they are missing. Most of the time it is your music that is the problem. The music is usually in the last folder in the Tdata or Udata folder.

After you get the CD made and the new HD installed, you can FTP the stuff over that you left out.

Well like you, i had more than 700mb for a cd-r disc. So i only took the needed stuff, i had xbmc on their and i just copied it over to my pc using FTP. I just put all the un needed files off until the bigger hd was created then i installed the hard drive and transferd over.. You can transfer with discs aswell if you cannot ftp
