Xbox 1.0 Problem

1.0 xboxes come with a crappy Thomson drive. Usually, they only read CDs DVDs and Xbox games. They have problems reading DVD-R and they don't even read CD-R.
If you have another xbox with another DVD drive,you could swap out the DVD drive and see if it works.
