007 Softmod - Downgrade Dashboard - Help D:
« on: August 23, 2007, 02:56:00 PM »

Okay, I have an Xbox that has a low Kernel, but the Dashboard version is too high... I need to know how to downgrade the Dashboard to a version low enough to use Linux.

I'm using the 007: Agent Under Fire disc for the savegame exploitation, and I'm wondering if I need any special files for that.

So far, all I've done is connect my USB drive to my XBox and formatted it in FATX.

HELP D:

you don't need a low dashboard. any dashboard can be modded. just don't use outdated crap.

Alright, cool.

I downloaded a 007 savegame from this site, and my Xbox can read my USB drive and I can copy the files to the HD and stuff... but when I load it up, it flashes to a screen that says I need to call customer service.

What other files do I need? It wouldn't load the 3 Mechassault files.

Sorry for the double post.. I got a 007 savegame to boot, and it gave me Media X Menu and it worked fine, but now it gives me the Customer Service error when I try to load it.... help? D:

Edit: Got it to work, all I had to do was delete the MXM data from my hd.
Now I just gotta figure out Linux.. @__@
