******UPDATE******

For some reason my eeproms are switched in the backup.  I figured just for the heck of it I would try the new hdd in the other softmodded xbox.  It booted up fine.

Ok now that i have determined that I actually did everything correctly but have the wrong info on the hdd, I know that there has to be some way to swap the info.

I know that I have read this in the forum somewhere.  Since I already have xbox1 softmodded and working with a small hdd in it, get the eeprom and/or hddinfo from it and place it on the new hdd2(that is currently working on xbox2).  Once the info is one the hdd2, I can then place it in xbox1 and everything should be fine.

What is the particular tutorial or search that i should be looking for?
