Hey all, i managed to softmod my xbox but whilst ftping over XBMC i was stupid enough to delete the contents of the E drive. Now my xbox has no dashboard i get the 21 error but i can still run games and cd's. I'm aware that i could hot swap my xbox but i'd rather not do that incase i screwed up my computer as well.

Is it at all possible that i could run a live CD that would enable FTP so i could repair my xbox and place a new dashboard. I'm pretty noobie to this xbox modding but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update, i've downloaded Rescoox but i can't get it to setup ftp access. Does anyone have any suggestions? x

Another update; Have managed to FTP into box and can access drive E again, i've copied over the same dashboard *evox and still no dice - i do hope someone is reading this lol

Haha, sorry about the lack of replies.

I would have booted CASH or Slayers or something to FTP.

cheers, yeh booted with slayers and have installed xbmc. have a pretty sweet media pc, not bad for £40
