New Hdd Using Xboxhdm V1.9 (aborting!)

To anyone who might have been having similar issues, mine was fixed easily by pressing "y" not typing "yes" at the end where it asks you if you are sure about locking the HDD.

Is the xbox modded after installation of the new Hdd? or do you have to go through the soft-mod against the new Hdd?
