Question About Moving From Hardmod To Soft Mod.

Ok so Iv got an xbox with a duox2 and a 320gb harddrive.So far the chip has been giving me problems and Im getting tired of it.Is there anyway I could remove the chip and use mechassault to softmod and still use my larger harddrive?

Lock your HDD and use Slayers 2.7 to format your C drive and install the 5960 MS Dash before you remove your chip (if something goes wrong, you're going to need it).  

Then FTP over the MechAssault save for Krayzie's NDure; to do that, you'll need to extract the UDATA.zip file that the installer comes with and copy the 4d530017 (or similar name) folder to E:\UDATA\, making sure that there is no other folder with the same name (another MA save).

Turn your box off, remove your chip and boot up MA.  Load the save as per the included instructions in readme.txt.  Install the softmod.  Enjoy.
