what dashboard are you using?

In evox/settings you can choose games: PAL.

And in XBMC you can force games (i think) to play in PAL.

I dont know if it will fix your problem but its worth a try. Hope it helps cobrin....

EDIT: nice move, putting it in your car. I too want to do that some day. Not for games ,but music and movies.
