Usb Keyboard Not Working In Programs Loaded From Dash

I'm running XBMC as my dashboard with the Ultimate Dash Exploit and when I run an emulator for DOS or C64 or anything like that, the keyboard doesn't work even though it works in XBMC. Is this a problem with XBMC or with the UDE?
